Ferris Wheel

Outside of the base I lived in on Okinawa, there was a great big ferris wheel!

At night, it would light up and flash all sorts of pretty colors.

One day, I finally decided I'd go up on it!
And I got to watch the sunset over the ocean while riding. :o)It was beautiful.

(PS - the wheel lit up just as I was exiting it! How exciting is that?)

Not a Writer

I admit it. I'm not a writer. Not only do I not write well, but I apparently don't enjoy it. Thus, no blog posts. So, instead enjoy one of my adventures through pictures:
I blew a glass! (Okinawa is rather well known for their glass work.)
Turned it into a "goya" (bumpy bitter cucumber thing you find all over Okinawa) tumbler! (Further explanation: it's a goya tumbler because it has a bumpy texture on the outside, similar to a goya.)Then celebrated with some banana soft serve!

New Decision!

Pushing myself to write specific type topics is too difficult for unscheduled me. So, I'm just going to post random things when I want. :o)
